Plug Into Warehouse

Connecting Others to a New Life in Christ

Saturday, January 23rd, 5pm - Plug Into Warehouse 727
One of the very best decisions I ever made for my spiritual life was to volunteer at my church!  I had no idea how this one decision would absolutely change my life.  Volunteering on a ministry team took me to a "whole 'nother level" in my spiritual maturity & emotional contentment!

Join us as we highlight some of the volunteer opportunities at WH727.  No matter how long you have been attending WH727, we have a place for you to connect with others who also desire to make sure their life matters in Kingdom matters!  Use your life to help others Connect to a New Life in Christ!
We will meet in the "Holy Spirit" room, in the hallway, across from the adult restrooms.  Come early to church & join us!

Finishing The Dip Teaching Series this Saturday

Has God ever done something big in your life & shortly afterward you feel defeated, discouraged, maybe even depressed?  Many people claim they are under the enemy's attack or they blame themeslves for having a weak faith...
Very often a "valley" follows a "mountain top" experience.  This is the type of situation we have been exploring in our series called, The Dip.
Join us this Saturday as we conclude this series & celebrate Communion - it'll be a fantastic worship experience!

Break Through - new teaching series Jan. 30th - Feb. 27th

There are many people who truly desire to closely follow God but they continue to get tripped up by the same thing, over & over!  Have you ever thought to yourself, "If I could just shake this one thing, my life would be so much better!"?
We will look at the topics of Bitterness, Worry, Addictions, Anger, & the Lies we tell ourselves.  I believe this series will be life changing for Warehouse!  I cannot wait to go through this series!!

Check out the new small group list - go to "Life Groups" on the WH727 web page

Haiti Earthquake Relief

Hello Warehouse family & friends!

The earthquake that hit Haiti is an absolute tragedy!  I've had some people ask what can they do to help.
What is needed at this urgent time is money.  Items such as food, clothing, etc. take too long to get there to meet their immediate need; however, financial donations can be implemented almost immediately.

Below is a link to the Florida Baptist website donation page.  Florida Baptist already have a relationship with Haiti, so a network of assistance is already established.  Plus, 100% of our gifts will go towards the relief effort!  Make sure you click on "Disaster Relief" when you designate your donation.

My family is going to personally donate & I encourage you to join us - even a small amount will help make a difference!

Begin Again in 2010!

At the beginning of every new year, many choose to make some changes to improve their personal life.  Many of us will choose to get better organized, eat better, or recommit to personal priorities.  No matter what the goal, January feels as if it is a mini "do over."

In a similar manner, January is a natural time for us - the Warehouse family - to set goals for the coming year & refocus on our proper priorities.

We are starting the new year with a new 3-week teaching series called The Dip.  The "Dip" refers to the time in our life when we are not on the mountain top; however, we don't necessarily need to be deep in the valley.  Much of the time, our lives can seem to be on auto-pilot.  Our circumstances aren't bad & they aren't great; we're simply cruising in our normal rut.  This may be a "natural" place to live our lives; however, it is not the "supernatural" place that God wants us to live - He has a huge mission & we are His agents to execute the mission!

In this teaching series we will discover why we have dips & what we should focus on during the dip.

After this series, starting January 23rd, we'll spend 5-6 weeks looking at the top spiritual issues that can hold us hostage.  These are things such as anger, worry, bitterness, & addictions.  I am super-excited about this series & I am already praying that everyone who desires freedom in their life will find it!

I love the Warehouse family & look forward to 2010!

Grace & Peace,
PJ (Pastor Jeff)

You are a carrier of Christ this week!

Hello Warehouse!

Every person you will run into this week - at work, shopping, Christmas parties...
everyone you run into is pregnant with the possibility of God transforming their life

and if you are a Christ-Follower...
you are a carrier of Christ!

The rude neighbor, obnoxious co-worker, manipulative in-law, antagonistic uncle, rebellious neighbor, self righteous person in management... maybe they have never been gracious, kind, or even considerate - they are in need for the Christ to make an appearance in their life and YOU are the carrier of Christ to them this Christmas season!

For everyone you have to be around (especially those which you would rather not) let me suggest three things.

1) Show Up - don't dodge the occasion to interact with them.  You are the very thing they need for God to continue the process of working on their heart.

2) Remind yourself that YOU are the carrier of Christ.  Speak & be the presence of Christ to them.  This also means, don't be self-righteous, passive, or obnoxious.

3) Speak life into their lives.  If they like to complain & argue about certain subjects, don't go there with them.  Instead, find something to compliment them or speak about their potential or value!  When Jesus spoke to others, He often spoke to their value or potential instead of condemning them.  Bless others with your words of affirmation & be assured that you have planted a seed of life in them.  God will use it!

For more teaching on this topic watch last SatPM's message

Who can you invite to our Christmas Eve service?
Do whatever you can to bring a couple of friends with you because they will hear a clear presentation of the Gospel!

Christmas Eve service is Thursday
