Last night was the first night of our Forgiveness series. It seemed that everyone was zeroed in on the teaching & really taking it to heart. At times you could have heard a pin drop; other times there were tears & you could see some wrestling with their heart. Man, I can't wait for next SatPM!

Forgiveness is Coming!

Today is the first day of Autumn... really?  I can't wait for less humidity & cooler temps!

What a busy weekend! - I ended last week by going to Orlando @ Blossom Church conference with 3 guys in WH727 leadership (Joe, Doug, & Tim.)  It was great to get away, talk about WH727, & dream about the future.  SatAM was finishing the message & get ting ready for SatPM.  SunAM was mowing the yard & celebrating Eli's 1st birthday.  The day ended by taking Charlene for a ride on the motorcycle, coming home & grilling some t-bones on the grill!  It was a great day to be with & celebrate my family!  I am more blessed than I deserve.

SatPM we concluded our teaching series "Crank It Up."  We spent the last 5 weeks looking at how we turn up the volume & increase the intensity in our spiritual lives... good stuff!

The next 4 weeks we'll investigate the topic of Forgiveness.  Forgiving someone is an issue everyone of us must face at multiple times in our life.  We will properly define what forgiveness is; deal with the hurt that is associated with it, & develop a road map to be able to move on from the hurt. 

We must learn to be excellent at forgiveness - it's the way Jesus lived (He's our example as we follow Him) & it's the only way to be free from hurts inflicted by others.  Forgiveness is not: ignoring the seriousness of the offense, instant restoration of trust, or resuming the relationship without any changes.  This will be a great teaching series.

Properly Handling Our Finances - God Style

Last weekend we talked about God's way to handle our finances & we tapped into a true, felt-need for so many people!  Last weekend was also the Dave Ramsey seminar & everyone who attended it is pumped!

We planned on having a small group called Financial Peace University.  The response has been so great, we will have it two different times - TuesPM & ThursPM!  For more info check out the link & call or email the church office.

Warehouse 727 Clean & Paint Day

Join us next Monday, September 15th, getting the upstairs ready to use for our small groups.  We'll be there from 9am until around 3pm or 4pm.  Lunch will be provided.
